Population-based genomic screening (PGS) offers the opportunity to identify those who are at high risk of serious yet preventable cancer and cardiovascular disease and need tailored disease prevention and clinical management. Funded by the National Human Genome Research Institute, the FOCUS Project has gathered information from existing PGS programs at different stages of implementation in order to develop a framework and resources for population genomic screening programs seeking to improve their adoption, implementation and sustainment.
